All right, folks, I'm just going to be straight up and say I'm kind of a picky asshole about canons. It's better to get this out of the way than waste time, so let me put my cards on the table.
I know little to nothing about anime (or JRPGs like Persona or anime-inspired canons like RWBY) aside from legacy titles like SM here. I'll just...go be weird over in the corner.
• CANONS I'D LOVE TO PLAY AGAINST Pretty much any live action movies or shows, western animation/comics, book canons, OCs that fall in these general directions
• THESE CANONS CAN COME, TOO Nostalgic anime (Gundam Wing, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Kenshin, DBZ, Yu-Gi-Oh! - basically, if it was on Toonami, it's good), canons with super cute guys like Free!, Yuri! On Ice, Ouran, dating sims, etc, western video games
• NOT REALLY INTO THESE (canons or character types) Persona, RWBY, most JRPGs, anything involving harems unless it's, like, Ouran, everyman/silent/unnamed protags, perverts with a heart of gold, tokusatsu
